Announcement: New 2019 Schedule ?

TLDR: Beginning in January 2019, FiLM podcast will be adopting a monthly release schedule. We have three feature episodes still to deliver in 2018, these release dates are TBD. Thank you for your patience as we enter our third year and find the need to re-calibrate slightly. These changes will not affect our monthly Patreon episodes.

For the last three years, FiLM podcast has enjoyed the pace of a bi-weekly release schedule and the occasional weekly releases of our bonus theme months. Beginning in January 2019, Falling in Love Montage podcast is adopting a monthly release schedule.
As we grow as an organization and as individuals, we find the need to make adjustments. As co-hosts, both Helen and Valerie’s lives have expanded in new ways and undergone tremendous change. These include personal changes, professional changes, and changes that impact resources and wellness.
This decision wasn’t an easy one, as our true wish is that we had time to cover MORE content, not less. However, we recognize that if we want to produce and deliver great content, we must tune in to the current challenges and adapt accordingly. After time, we arrived at the understanding that this new schedule presents great possibilities for our podcast, our network, and most importantly our listeners. We seek to remind you that this change may prove to be temporary.

What to expect:

· More time to listen to our backlog. We don’t typically recommend living in the past but we also have a lot of episodes we’re really proud of.

· It’s important to manage expectations but I’m going to take a risk here and say “Better Content”! I know, that was bold! However, it’s not a stretch to imagine that with more time available to dedicate to the work we put in before and after a recording, the better the results. We’re talking research, formatting, and production quality. These things are important. Your time is valuable and when you plug into our show, we want to maximize the experience. We still have a lot of room for improvement. We know it and we’re up for the challenge.

· Guests on the podcast will experience more flexibility when scheduling. Your time is valuable and we want to make damn sure we are honoring you. What you bring to our listeners is more valuable than anything we offer on our own. We love you!

· Larger discussions. Both on the podcast and in the group chat, we’ll be able to get more granular on the topics that arise in the film of the month and/or current events. I am very excited to spend more time engaging with the ideas you share in the group and the emails (that we check too occasionally even though we beg for them).

As always, Helen and Valerie are shameless and will talk about anything so feel free to ask questions or share your feedback.

FiLM has three scheduled episode left in this calendar year. At the time of this writing, those release dates remain tentative. We will continue to release monthly Patreon episodes without interruption.

Thank you in advance and remember, we are majorly, totally, butt-crazy in love with you! ?
